Blacktown International Sportspark will host this week’s Winter League and Development League matches with 19 matches to be played on Sunday, starting a 9am.
The Winter League is an open age competition for women’s players, while the Development League will include boys and girls teams in the under-15 age group.
We’re looking towards another great weekend of action with temperatures set to be partly cloudy and 25 for the day.
In Winter League, Phoenix, Hills and Cumberland Force are the undefeated teams after the first two games.
In the Development League, the pace setters are Hit Squad and Macarthur with Blue Jays right on their tails having not tasted a loss so far. With Blue Jays set to play both Hit Squad and Macarthur, the title favourites should put their hands up this weekend.
The Winter League and Development League will take the following weekend off for the Academy Games in Newcastle before being joined by the boys’ Development League competition on May 6.
