The 2018 champions of the Winter League, girls Development League and boys Development League will all be decided on Sunday at Blacktown International Sportspark.

The final day of the competitions will be as fiercely fought as the rest of the competition has been in what has been a great tournament.

The final 12 matches will see the champions crowned with Phoenix (Winter League), Hit Squad (Development League – Girls) and Macarthur (Development League – Boys) each claiming the minor premierships on the back of strong performances.

In Winter League, Phoenix will hope to go one better than last year but will face stiff competition against the Hawks, Phantoms and Cumberland Force. Hit Squad went through its season undefeated as it seeks to go one better as well but will have to get past Macarthur, Cumberland Force – Gold and Phantoms to taste victory. Finally, Macarthur will look to go back-to-back on the boys Development League, but will have to get past Barbarians or Blue Jays in the final.

The Winter League is an open age competition for women’s players, while the Development League will include boys and girls teams in the under-15 age group.

Temperatures will again be down for the finals with Sunday’s minimum set to be 7 degrees and maximum 21 degrees and mostly sunny. Be sure to rug up and watch a great final day of the 2018 Winter League.
