State League heads into the finals

The Men’s Rounds came to completion after the last games of the 2019 State League season. Moving into the Finals on Sunday October 27 will be Tropics who finished on top of the ladder with 45 points closely followed by Dolphins on 44. The next 3 spots were up for grabs right until the last games were completed.  2 wins to Mounties saw them secure 3rd place whilst United pipped Thurabredz for 4th place.

9:30am                Tropics v Dolphins (G1)

                              Mounties v United (G2)

12 noon              Loser G1 v Winner G2 (G3)

2:30pm                Winner G1 v  Winner G3 (Grand Final)

The women’s playoffs got off to an exciting start with wins to Sharks, Norwest Wolves, Manly Eagles and Panthers. Hills and Phoenix were the first 2 teams eliminated from the final series after 2 losses with Sweet Heat and Northern Storm keeping their hopes alive and will move into next week’s games. Sharks and Manly Eagles play at 12 noon for a place in the grand final whilst Panthers and Norwest need wins to stay in with a chance of taking out the 2019 State League Title
