Softball NSW Launches New Branding

Softball NSW are proud to announce the launch of the new logo as part of the ongoing evolution of our organisation’s branding.

Our organisation has evolved over the years, and the SNSW Board felt it was time for a change. We have refreshed our logo to reflect who we are today and to symbolise our future. The visual elements of the branding represent a step forward for the organisation, comprising a modern, structure and shape, and represents elements of the sport itself.

Softball NSW CEO Daniel Rushworth explained the design “The design identifies with the previous branding maintaining the presence of a pitcher, the inclusion of the background Waratah symbolising the State of NSW, the Shield outline with reference to home plate and finally the two lower chevrons represent the sides of the diamond in which our sport is played.”

This latest development marks an important milestone on our journey of building a modern sporting organisation brand. The new logo is far more adaptive to digital environments and is designed to attract new partnerships and participants. The refreshed look will encompass a full design refresh that includes everything across our sport.

Rushworth added “It was important that we keep the pitcher, which has such historical significance for the sport, the aim was to modernise some very important aspects with the new design as it is more youthful and contemporary, to help the game connect to a wider partnership and participation base.”

The task in the upcoming months will be to update all our platforms, collaterals, uniforms, venue etc. with the new logo.  We realise that changing a logo is a process that can involve many steps and take some time, so we will finalise it gradually.
