Defending champions Penrith City has won the 2016 U17 State Championship.
8 teams played in the championship in a round robin format with Penrith City remaining undefeated and Macarthur only dropping 1 game made their way into the final. The competition proved very competitive with 4 teams finishing on 13 points and only separated by runs against.
Macarthur started strong and jumped out to a 3 – 0 lead but Penrith City fought back to level then went ahead and never looked back winning 7 – 5.
