The team only lost one game during the Tournament which also saw them play Victoria, NZ Development and Papua New Guinea and finished top of the table to move straight into the final. Queensland defeated Victoria in the game where the winner was to face the Blue Bloods and a chance to win the title.

The Final was a tight game and Queenland fought back but couldnt manage to crack the tough NSW defence.
