NSW U19 Womens Champions

The NSW U19 Women’s Team has regained the Elinor McKenzie Shield after missing out the past 2 years.

The NSW Team went to Brisbane determined to dominate the competition which they did from the outset with only 3 runs being scored against them in the rounds and only one in the final series against Queensland in the Semi Final.

The final was close a close contest for the first 3 innings with NSW only scoring 1 run in the bottom of the 1st innings before piling on 7 runs in the bottom of the 4th. NSW were able to keep Queensland scoreless in the top of the 5th to finish the game 8 – 0.

This is the 22nd time NSW has won the Elinor McKenzie Shield.

Congratulations Team.
