Paid Opportunity for Casual Coaches

Softball NSW is looking to recruit coaches to deliver the Sporting Schools program across the state. The role provides you with an ideal opportunity to promote the sport of Softball and your association while earning some extra cash. Sessions run during school hours and run for four weeks in each school. Coaches can pick which programs suit their location and schedule based on opportunity emails that are sent out.

Sporting Schools is a $100 million Australian Government initiative designed to help schools to increase children’s participation in sport, and to connect children with community sport. In partnership with more than 30 National Sporting Organisations (NSO), Sporting Schools will help to coordinate sporting organisations, coaches, and teachers to deliver sport before, during and after school hours. The programs are underpinned by the quality assurance provided by the NSOs, and the programs are free to families.

Requirements:

- Must be over 18 years of age

- Attained a paid Working With Children Check

- Have completed Softball Batter Up Program
