Community Advice - Greater Sydney Lockdown Extension

Published Wed 14 Jul 2021

Given the growing number of infectious cases in the community and unlinked cases of community transmission of COVID, the NSW Government has announced the current lockdown will be extended for at least another two weeks until 11:59 pm on Friday, 30 July.

The NSW Government are constantly reviewing the health advice and will continue to update the community if any changes are required. This means the restrictions currently in place across Greater Sydney including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong, and Shellharbour will remain in place until this time. Further Information on the extension of the stay-at-home orders can be found here.

N.B Restrictions in Regional NSW remain unchanged-please refer to previous advice here.

We understand this is a difficult time for the Associations and Clubs within our community and appreciate your ongoing support in communicating this information with members. Below are links to several announcements from the NSW Government regarding financial support for organisations and individuals.

Information relating to NSW Government funding support will be available on the Service NSW website.
