Community Advice: Event & Membership Recommendations

Published Fri 17 Dec 2021

Softball NSW acknowledges the recent advice provided by the NSW Government in relation to easing of restrictions on the community as of December 15.

Whilst the easing of these restrictions do allow for additional freedoms, our organisation is cautious during this period of transition of the NSW Government’s Roadmap. The timing of these adjustments in restrictions on the eve of the holiday period, as well as numerous State Championships and programs has drawn the organisation to provide our community with recommendations for consideration.

Softball NSW offers the following recommendations for our community in attending their local training, competition, programs, or events.

- Check into the venue where possible

- Maintain social distancing

- Observe high hand hygiene

- Refrain from sharing water bottles or food

- Refrain from sharing equipment

- Wear a mask in high-density settings

As per above these are only recommendations and are not mandatory.

As consistently advised throughout the pandemic, the safety and wellbeing of our community is paramount and these recommendations continue to align on this point.
