2023 Softball NSW Awards
Published Fri 24 Feb 2023
The Softball NSW Awards evening is returning in 2023
The Softball NSW Awards recognise those individuals, Clubs, Associations, and Teams who have achieved not only excellence, but have also provided outstanding service to the sport of Softball in NSW each year in alignment with the 2021-2024 Strategic Plan.
The community celebration focuses on all manner of persons within Softball in NSW - those members of our sport from the local diamond, and through to State, National, and International achievements.
The Softball community is cordially invited to attend the 2023 Softball NSW Awards, to be held on the evening of Saturday 29 April 2023 at the Ambassador Room, WestHQ, to recognise and celebrate the outstanding service and contribution to Softball of our nominees, finalists, and winners.
Nominating Members
As part of the process, it is crucial to recognise our volunteers, athletes, and officials' success and reward for the impact the individual or group has had within their Club, Association, State/National body, and/or local community. Nominations provide an insight of their hard work and dedication for the benefit of Softball in NSW that often goes unnoticed.
Nominations in any category can be completed by any member of Softball NSW, the Association, Club, or the participant themselves. Softball NSW acknowledges that within the Criteria and Nomination Information document the criteria for consideration is vast and in depth. However, regardless of not necessarily meeting all the available criteria, we encourage Clubs and Associations to nominate individuals and/or themselves across several categories.
Please note that nominators, the Club, and/or the Association of the person being nominated may be contacted by Softball NSW and/or the relevant judging panel(s) to confirm any nomination information and examples provided. For self-nominations, we recommend that the nomination is endorsed by the Club and/or Association President where the individual or group is first-registered, as these referees will be contacted during the judging period.
Submitting a Nomination
Whilst there is no minimum or maximum word count, Softball NSW encourages all nominators to provide the judging panel(s) with sufficient accurate and relevant information and examples of achievements and service specific to the award and nomination period.
Nominations can be made online via the following JotForm: Softball NSW Awards Nomination Form 2023
Finalists and award winners will be specifically recognised on the night at the 2023 Softball NSW Awards evening.
