Manly Warringah and Penrith City have won the U15 State Champinships held in Tamworth over the weekend.
In the Girl’s Division Hornsby went through to the final after being undefeated through the rounds and finished first, Manly Warringah made the final after only dropping one game to Hornsby in the rounds. The final was an exciting game with the score seesawing throughout. In the end the game went to a tie breaker with Manly Warringah able to score 2 runs to Hornsby’s one with the score finishing 7-6.

The Boy’s Division was dominated by Penrith through the rounds going through to the final undefeated. Macarthur dropped 2 games in the rounds but finished 2nd on the table to meet Penrith City in the Final. Penrith City continued their domination by defeating Macarthur 8 – 1.

The Girl’s State Cup was a very even competition with Orange and Southern Districts finishing 1st and 2nd after the rounds. In a close game Southern Districts ran out winners 9 – 8.
