Macarthur U19 Men's Champions

The Macarthur U19 Men’s Team have won the 2015 State Championship beating Penrith City in the final 2-1. Macarthur were the first team through in a high scoring Semi Final defeating Penrith City 11 – 8. Southern Districts earnt the right to play in the Preliminary Final by defeating Central 5 – 3 but could not match the hitting of Penrith City in the game to see who would take on Macarthur with Penrith City running out winners 15 – 3.


The final was a close game with Macarthur taking a 2 run lead into the last innings however Penrith City replied with 1 run and looked in a strong position to score more runs with runners on 2nd and 3rd but the pitching of Luke Ollerenshaw kept the last 2 batters in the box with 2 K2s.


Final Positions were:

1st Macarthur

2nd Penrith City

3rd Southern DIstricts

4th Central

5th Campbelltown

6th Newcastle


The winning team was
