Umpiring - Community Umpiring Online

PURPOSE

The Online Community Umpire Program has been developed to help equip members in the Softball community with the basic knowledge of the game of Softball and to assist with rule knowledge whilst umpiring at a club / association level.

TARGETED GROUP

The program could be for any of the following groups:

Members who want to become an accredited Level 1 umpire but can't make their association course / training program
Members who want to learn more about the rules to assist with their club / association umpire duties
Members who want to learn more about where to stand, how to umpire the game each week
Coaches / Scorers who have questions about umpiring or want to improve their rule knowledge
Parents who may have umpire duties and have questions on how to umpire

Once you register you will receive the training program. If you only want to attend one of the sessions relevant to what you need to know, you can. Alternatively you can attend all 4 sessions or a combination.

For anyone umpire looking to become an accredited Level 1 umpire, we also encourage you to reach out to your UIC and make them aware so they can support you through the program and a future assessment.
