Meet The Executive Committee
Adam Rindfleish - Director of Coaching
Adam has had a long-standing affiliation in New South Wales having represented 16 times as a NSW player and 17 times as an NSW coach (Across all men's age groups - U17, U19, U23 and Opens), including 12 National Champion titles. Currently, he is the U18 Men’s NSW Head Coach and the Softball NSW Director of Coaching.
At the national level, Adam is currently the head coach of the Junior Steelers (U18 Men's Australian Team) and an assistant coach with the Aussie Steelers (Australian Men's Team). Adam Rindfleish has coached at 4 World Championships, including the World Championship win in Prince Albert 2018.
As a player, he was a part of the first world champions Australian men’s team (U19’s in 1997). In 2009 Adam was awarded the Aussie Spirit Award.
Currently, he is on the National Men’s High-Performance Coaching Panel for Softball Australia.
Career Highlights
- First person in Australia to coach and play for Australia in a Jnr Men's World Championships.
- First person in the world to win Jnr Men’s World Championships as both a player and a coach.
- Third person in the world to win a gold medal at a World Championship as a player and a coach in any men's age group.

Troy Lach - Executive Member
Troy has been involved as a coach with Softball and Football for 18 years. Currently, he is in his 2nd year as an Assistant Coach with the NSW Open Men’s Side and defending National Champions.
For the past 8 years Troy has been a part of the Southern Metropolitan Softball Academy, and active coach within GRSA Representative and Club sides. Along with softball Troy has coached with Football NSW’s High Performance Unit. In his 18 years he has become qualified as a Level 4 Softball Coach and B Level Professional Football coach with FFA, and obtained Certification’s in Sports Fitness and Sports Strapping. He is excited to be part of this venture, and assisting in building a successful Coach and Athlete Education and Development Program.
Kerrie Porter - Executive Member
Kerrie has been involved with NSW Softball for over 20 years, 6 years as a player and 20 years as a coach at Under 19, Under 23 and Open levels. Currently, Kerrie is the Head Coach of the NSW Open Women's Team, the Firestars and also the NSWIS HP Coach.
At the National level, Kerrie has been the Assistant Coach of the Aussie Spirit since 2011, attending World Championships in 2012, 2014 and 2016 and is currently the Head Coach of the Junior Aussie Spirit (U/19) as they prepare for World Championships in August 2019 in California. Kerrie enjoys all aspects of coaching and is passionate about providing athletes opportunities to compete to their potential and is happy to give back to the sport which has given her so many fantastic experiences.
