Coaching in Schools
What is the process to become an endorsed coach for Softball Sporting Schools?
Softball Australia has created an easy-to-follow process to become endorsed for the Schools Program. All coaches and teachers delivering the program must be endorsed by Softball Australia as a coach prior to conducting a program.
To become endorsed for the Sporting Schools Program, coaches must meet the following requirements:
- Be over the age of 15
- Hold a current Working With Children Check (Paid work) relevant to the state that they intend to conduct sessions
- Complete an AIS Coaching General Principles or be accredited as a coach in another sport
- Hold a current Softball Accreditation – minimum online coaching induction
- Register for the Softball Batter Up website – complete resources library
- Register as a coach and provide documentation of all accreditation & WWCC
