Day 6 was a great day for the Blue Bloods with all 3 teams making their way into the Championship decider. The Firestars started to get the bats working in the 2nd inning with lead off Taylah Tsitsikronis getting on board with a single. Stacey McManus then did her job to move Taylah to 2nd who scored on an error after Shannon Keevers put pressure on the infield. Bianca Abrahams singled to centrefield to advance Keevers. Tahli Moore layed a well directed bunt down to score Keevers. The Firestars then added another run in the bottom of the 3rd when Taylah Tsitsikronis was walked then a single from Stacey McManus advanced Taylah. A single from Shannon Keevers put the 3rd run on the board. The Starz replied with a run in the top of the 4th but could not manage another after some tight pitching from Kaia Parnaby. It is now a wait for the Firestars to see whether it will be the SA Starz or the WA Flames that they face in the Final.
