Big weekend of Softball at Blacktown International Sportspark

The under-15 boys State Championship and the start of the second round of the men’s State League competition highlight an enormous weekend of Softball at Blacktown International Sportspark.

Penrith City (5 – 2011, 2013-2017) and Macarthur (3 – 2011-2012, 2018) have been the dominant forces in the under-15s boys State Champs in the last eight championships with Macarthur the defending champions.

Last season was a fascinating finish with Orange making history – making its first final at under-15 boys level since 1989. It was also a tremendous result by Newcastle, who finished third.

With the addition of Campbelltown, there will be nine associations taking part in the 2018 championship with Cumberland Nepean, Georges River, Macarthur, Newcastle, Orange, Penrith City, Southern Districts and Sutherland set to play in the competition.
