Susan Rindfleish
2016 marks 40 years of devoted service to softball in NSW. Susan has been a generous, people oriented leader in our sport since 1976 when Susan was a founding member of the Redbacks Softball Club at Sutherland. Susan progressed over the years to serve on the Sutherland Committee, as Southern Metropolitan Division Convenor, and as a Board Member and President for Softball NSW and Softball Australia.
Susan started her softball career as a school teacher and softball coach. It was quickly discovered that her caring, open and supportive style was perfect for the role of Team Manager/Administrator, a role in which Susan demonstrated excellence for many, many years including Sutherland rep teams, PSSA State Teams, State League Teams and NSW State Teams.
Off the diamond, in administrative roles Susan’s contribution to NSW and softball has been nothing short of enormous. Over a highly successful Administrative career Susan has held the following leadership positions:
Sutherland Shire SA – 25+ years as a Board Member
Southern Met Division Softball NSW – 14 years as Regional Convenor
Softball NSW – 13 years on the Board (9 of those as President)
Softball Australia – 3 years on Board
