The 2018 Winter League and Development Leagues are set to tee off this week with 20 games across the two competitions on week one of the competitions.
The Winter League is an open age competition for women’s players, while the Development League will include boys and girls teams in the under-15 age group.
Starting Sunday at International Peace Park in Seven Hills, the women’s Winter League and girls Development League competitions will continue until May 25 and take place at several venues across Sydney.
The Winter League competition will include 11 teams with players from across NSW including the All Stars, Blue Jays, Country Coasties, Cumberland Force, Hawks, Hills, Manly Eagles, Phantoms, Phoenix, Sharks and Sweet Heat.
The girls Development League has seven teams, including Blue Jays, Cumberland Force – Black, Cumberland Force – Gold, Hit Squad, Macarthur, Phantoms and Wolves.
The boys Development League competition doesn’t start until May 6 and will have four teams – Barbarians, Blue Jays, Cumberland Force and Macarthur.
