“We see this partnership as a vital component in the identification and development of talent and a key to building a high performance pathway for our sport in the State. Partnering with the NSW SHSA will without doubt enhance the development of elite male and female softballers in NSW.

We are delighted that Softball NSW are dedicated to working closely with the Sports High Schools.

“The long-term relationship is about the growth and consolidation of Softball in the school environment. We see this as being paramount to the ongoing success of our programs and I know that all of the Sports High Schools are committed to making this partnership successful for everyone involved – in particular the students.”

Current  Australian World Champion Blake Jackson reflected on his time at a Sports High School.

“Those extra training sessions over my time at school were invaluable … it was a great experience and I feel very privileged to have been there,” he said.

“The supportive environment at Westfields Sports high school enabled me to compete at the highest levels whilst still completing my schooling.”
